Green Homes Grant scheme – call for delivery partners

The South West Energy Hub has launched the procurement of delivery organisations under the national Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery scheme (Phase 2).

The scheme, funded by the Department for Business, Environment & Industrial Strategy promotes the adoption of energy efficiency and low carbon measures in domestic properties, as part of the Government’s Covid-19 green stimulus package.

About the scheme

In the South West region, £51,170,750 million is available in seven lots, each one covering a Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area.  Bidders can apply for up to two lots and will be awarded a maximum of two lots.

The scheme aims to install insulation and other energy efficiency measures, non-fossil fuel heating and micro-generation measures in the homes of households who are on low incomes and are identified as suffering from fuel poverty.

Delivery organisations will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer journey, from identifying eligible households to installing and evaluating appropriate energy efficiency measures.

How to apply

Deadline: Expressions of interest must be submitted via the Procontract portal by 11am on Friday 9th April.

Please note: the estimated Lot values stated are the amount that the South West Energy Hub has allocated to each Lot Area.  We reserve the right, in circumstances where we reasonably believe that a Delivery Organisation will be unable to utilise the funds allocated to the Lot Area in the time available, to reallocate funds to a different Lot Area and a different Delivery Organisation with a view to maximising the use of the Scheme funds and impact of the Scheme. In such circumstances, the eventual Lot value shall be reduced or increased accordingly.
